The Debmarine–Namdeb Foundation officially handed over 35 computers to UNAM to assist the basic economics and business mathematics faculties. Two air–conditioners and a camera security system were also installed to complete the laboratory. The University faces challenges of bringing students to a level where they can achieve international standards of scholarship. The computers will be used as a prerequisite tutorial to address the gap between high school education and 1st year university teachings.
