OBNAM was very fortunate to have received donations such as sewing machines and materials from the Foundation to officially launch its new sewing program.  In early 2020, the trainer and a few experts in the field of needlework and sewing compiled a training manual for the first 6 ladies from the Otjomuise community to start with training.  Unfortunately their training were interrupted as a result of the countrywide lockdown due to COVID-19.  Soon after the lockdown was relaxed the ladies quickly organized themselves and started manufacturing washable face cloths for their staff, their beneficiaries and their families.  The DNF, amongst other companies ordered masks for distribution amongst community members, Debmarine Namibia also ordered masks for their employees.
