Wilderness Therapy Namibia

Wilderness Therapy Namibia is an intervention and awareness programme for OVC, Youth at Risk and other disadvantaged children. Wilderness Therapy Namibia, focuses on taking participants into the wilderness for the development of their human potential and character building. Emphasis is placed on the discovery of strengths, potential and development of competence. Hikes to the Naukluft, Fish River and Gaub River comprise of 4 groups of 8 boys and 1 group of 8 girls = 40. Learners are selected by their Life Skills teacher. Therapy is provided for 18 months weekly after training hikes on the school premises. The Foundation donated five 8 day therapy hikes for 2019.
